Home game for star in Brisbane

Kate Hudson, sun-kissed star of Fools Gold, a movie being shot at Airlie Beach on Australia’s Far North Queensland coast, had a welcome day off yesterday.

Sharing time with hot and hunky co-star Matthew McConaughy, Kate who of course is the daughter of Hollywood comedienne Goldie Hawn, retreated to the familiar.

Kate hunkered down in her Platinum Suite at the Conrad Treasury glued to the Foxtel box for several hours to watch her footie team - the Indianapolis Colts - beat the New England Patriots.

Fools Gold is now shooting in Brisbane before moving south to film on the Gold Coast.
