A game of chance or skill

Is poker a game of chance? or is it a game of skill?
Some say its a game of chance. But their argument is based on the fact that the cards are shuffled. But from thereon, is it chance? or is it skill? Bluffing has been known to work rather well for some.

I ask because in recent days, a court in the UK ruled on a case that handed down a hefty fine to a club-owner for not having a license, as required by the Gaming Act, which stipulates that all games of chance. But such a license is not required for games of skill.

I'm interested in hearing some views. I stick to skill. So, as you consider, i invite you to check out and try your luck. I mean, skill.
