Athlete Trying to Get to the Olympics

Brandon Rowe, 23 year old amateur runner living in Philadelphia, is trying to make it to the Olympics. To fund his endeavours, he has started an online experiment to see how much he can sell 100 links on his website for. As of a couple days ago, he has sold 148 links at $223.35. The homepage features 100 links sold auction style. As new links are added, the lowest bid links fall off the homepage.

That is an interesting twist on the pixel site idea, and I do like his link experiment, it is creative! Here's a eBay pixel site I've used a few times to promote my eBay auctions.

I like this one because it's pictures, but not little tiny pictures like most pixel sites have. Do you know how hard it is for a visitor to NOT click on a picture? I think that's what makes this site so popular with the eBay community.

I'd imagine it'd be more worthwhile to train harder to get to the Olympics.

Most amateurs train and work, can't see why this one can't.

Not that not having to work wouldn't help a little..but this isn't the core that will get him to Beijing (or London, for that matter).
